anxious-but not anxious

for this weekend!

Sloane’s birthday is in just a matter of minutes and i’m bound to make it a great one. (she’s asleep so she won’t see this)

i won’t specify my plans though just incase she happens to stumble upon this :P muah ha ha

but what she does know about is Corpus! we’re staying at her grandparents house and i’m SO excited for it and i know she is also but i’m kinda nervous her grandparents aren’t gonna like me. But we’ll have fun no matter what, i know it! ahhh she’s 17 in 17 minutes. woah.

Lake Date (5/19/12)

Today i’ve been busy but i was free for a few hours so Sloane and i decided to go on a date! But she already knew where she wanted to go! So when i went to go pick her up she told me she had a special place she wanted to take me after we got froyo! However, on our way to this “special place” we spontaneously made a stop at an abandoned strip mall covered with grafitti and it was just sooo cool looking! We took lots of pictures and i want them from her :)

“Oh the sign says no trespassing?” “…YOLO.” lol

The sun was starting to set as we were leaving to go to my car so she was kinda hurrying to go! She was telling me where to drive but i had no clue where i was going. When she told me to park the car she told me to look down and close my eyes. She got a towel from the back seat and put it over my head so i looked like a death eater lol just white/blue striped instead of black. And Sloane was taking me somewhere (i found out later that it was through a park) and it was the hardest thing! I couldn’t see at all! But when she told me to take off the blind fold, it was worth the stumbling! It was beautiful to be honest… there was a dock that went out onto this little lake with a perfect view of the sunset and it was gorgeous. There’s few places in town that are as pretty as that. We didn’t have much time cause i had to get back home :/ but we had a good time and made a deal that we would go there at least once a week that we’re both in town and she’d better keep that promise ;)
